SYNOPSIS

Hundreds of international entertainers sign up to perform in Israel every year and nearly all of them are besieged with calls to boycott the Jewish homeland on social and mainstream media. Each of these boycott campaigns spreads vicious lies about Israel to their hundreds of millions of fans and traffics in antisemitic tropes stirring up Jew-hatred across the globe.

Behind it all is the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) campaign, an anti-Jewish conspiracy network masquerading as a human rights movement. Industry insider, Lana Melman, puts BDS on trial and shares the stories of artists, like Scarlett Johansson, Alicia Keys, Bon Jovi, Justin Timberlake, and The Rolling Stones, under fire in this destructive crusade

A small, but vocal group of artists, led by Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters, has joined this boycott effort. As a result, BDS has created a star-studded public battle between its artist followers, who seek to impose their anti-Israel ideology on their peers, and the thousands of musicians, filmmakers, artists, and authors who refuse to be cowed.

Artists Under Fire: The BDS War against Celebrities, Jews, and Israel blends an in-depth analysis and repudiation of the cultural boycott effort which is antisemitic at its core, dangerous for all Jews, poisonous for non-Jews, and a death knell for freedom of artistic expression.

Melman provides Israel supporters with an action plan to stand up to the cultural boycott campaign and will cause its followers to question the motives of their leaders, the company they are keeping, and the consequences of their actions.
